Organic Raw Cashew Nut Milk Recipe
For an amazing, creamy, raw, dairy free, soy free alternative to milk try Organic Raw Cashew Nut Milk which is packed full of goodness & flavour. Organic raw cashew nut milk is really quick & eay to make & what we love about it most is that it does not require straining.
Here is what you will need:
Organic Raw Cashew Nuts 1 cup
Filtered Water 4 cups
This is what you need to do:
You can soak your organic raw cashew nuts for 2 hours prior to blending them, discard the water that you utilse to soak the nuts & then add the soaked organic raw cashew nuts to your blender with the filtered water & blend until the cashew nuts are ground into liquid with no cashew pieces or cashew meal what so ever (though be mindful to blend on a low setting so that your cashew milk does’nt heat up – particulalry if you have a powerful blender.
Once the cashews are totally ground up into the water – your milk is ready to serve & it does not require any straining which makes it an incredibly quick & easy milk to make at home.
The other great thing about organic raw cashew nut milk is that it does’nt need any sweetening as cashews are a naturally sweet nut – though if you are looking for a taste alternative to add to your organic raw cashew nut milk for something a little different you can always add organic date or for more of an exotic flavour try some organic vanilla bean.
Store your cashew nut milk in a jug in the refrigerator – best served chilled.
